Part time Crime Duty Solicitor is needed for a firm in Kent.

We are now actively seeking a dynamic Crime Duty Solicitor for a specialist and focused team in Bromley on a part-time basis. Managing a busy and challenging caseload covering the full remit of criminal matters, the successful solicitor will be confident and always strive for a high level of client care.

• Providing an excellent service to legal aid clients
• Attending police stations
• Providing advice and advocacy in the Magistrates’ Court
• Running police station and Magistrates’ Court files
• Representing clients detained at the police station
• Motoring offences
• Agency work

The Candidate
• Applications are encouraged from solicitors with at least one years’ PQE
• You will be Crime Duty accredited
• Higher Rights of Audience would be ideal, but not essential
• Demonstrate strong advocacy skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage your workload effectively
• The ability to think laterally and approach issues creatively and collaboratively
