Boutique city firm looking for a temporary 3 month transactional corporate Paralegal.

Your new company
This boutique city based law firm recently merged with another firm as part of their strategic development and growth strategy in which Corporate Practice was hugely benefited and expanded. The firm has a long standing reputable history and in fact just celebrated their 250th anniversary. The firm works alongside business clients which include start-ups and SMEs, partnerships, LLPs, companies, larger corporate and multi-nationals, financial institutions and private banks. We also act for individuals in business and in a private capacity, providing them with a wide range of advisory services. We provide advice internationally, including through our membership of the Alliance of Business Lawyers. They are a recognised legal 500 firm with their Corporate and Commercial work ranking at tier 2. They are looking for a temporary paralegal to join the Corporate team and work alongside their partners, associates and trainees.


Your new role
Your key responsibilities will include reviewing core and ancillary banking documents, dealing with transaction to completion, quickly and accurately identifying relevant information in these documents, drafting and reviewing contracts.


What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will hold a minimum 2:1 degree in Law (or an appropriate conversion) and additionally ideally have completed the LPC. You will have some corporate transactional experience, it would be ideal if some experience was gained in a similar role. You should have excellent administration and organisational skills, inducing diary management and good time keeping. Finally you should be able to work in a team and be methodical in your approach.
