LAW Absolute is working  closely with a busy Local Authority based in the West Midlands, who are seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to join their team for an initial three month assignment with the strong possibility of extension.

The successful Planning Lawyer will be required to carry a full and varied caseload from the outset dealing with the following matters:

  • S.106 agreements,
  • Regeneration Projects,
  • Highways matters- S.278 agreements,
  • CPO matters and
  • Attendance at Planning Committees.

This role will suit an experienced planning lawyer who is able to deal with all aspects of planning law and practice. The ideal candidate will be both self-sufficient and a good team player and will possess excellent communication and drafting skills.

Previous public sector experience would be advantageous however, candidates with the relevant experience from other sectors are encouraged to apply. The ability to work autonomously is essential for this role.

This vacancy has arisen due to an influx in work and therefore you must be available on no more than two weeks’ notice.
