We are now offering a unique opportunity to build a career as part of Legal and Governance Services, which is expanding to support our broad range of stakeholders. Reporting to the General Counsel and working at the heart of the University, you will be part of a team providing high quality, robust and timely advice across the whole of the University’s activities.  Your work will always be varied and no two days will be the same.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering a proactive, commercial and strategic legal service to a wide range of stakeholders, demonstrating fresh thinking, new ways of working and innovative ideas to manage risk across the legal spectrum.  A full and involved role that will be critical to the delivery and support of the University’s objectives and strategic plans against measurable metrics. You will be a qualified lawyer with a suitable amount of PQE to deliver in the role, with the ability to acquire new areas of specialism and a successful track record of delivering at a senior level.  Keen to lead from the front, you will be continually looking for new ways of delivering a more efficient and effective service.  You will be a strong communicator with great insight and proven experience of developing a cohesive and collaborative team.
