Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor.
 
A high street firm with traditional values and a strong client base is looking for an Experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive with upwards of 3 years of PQE to inherit their own caseload which would start off initially as a 50:50 split between Commercial and Residential files.

The future overall direction of the caseload would be up to you, however, it is anticipated that you would be a commercial property solicitor who has experience of handling residential matters. 
 
There is a caseload to inherit as a long-standing member of staff is moving on, however, the volume of work coming into the firm is such that the caseload will expand.

The commercial work is varied -  so this role would suit someone with a wide-ranging skillset ie technical experience across many areas of Commercial and Residential property.
 
The firm has a close-knit family feel to it and the opportunity would suit an enthusiastic solicitor or legal executive who can roll their sleeves up and add value to client relationships.

Typically on the commercial side, the work has been commercial leases, landlord and tenant matters, handling development and purchasing matters on behalf of high net worth clients and commercial clients.

On the residential side, it would be traditional sales and purchase work, some plot sales, remortgages, help to buy schemes and much more.
 
You should be happy to live and work in the Derbyshire area. It is not a big corporate set-up so you should adjust your thinking around that.
 
Salary is based on experience, and there is also a lot of autonomy in this role.
