Data Protection Officer

I am working in partnership with a Global research Company in their search for a Data Privacy Officer.

Responsibilities include:

• Working closely with Compliance, Operational teams and Global Legal teams regarding Data Protection
• Reviewing Data Protection agreements
• Responding to data subject access requests
• Responsible for advising on all agreements that have a Data Protection angle
• Ability to assist with the strategy regarding Privacy and Compliance
• Attend relevant Data Protection / Compliance conferences

Skillset required:

• Qualified solicitor
• Experience in Data Protection/Privacy
• A genuine interest in Data Protection / Privacy and keen to stay up to date in changes
• In-house experience
• Good commercial law experience including commercial drafting
• A background in Media advantageous, but not a must
