Our client a local authority based in East London are seeking a Commercial Contracts Lawyer for three months initially.
The successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will be required to show a sound knowledge and experience of public procurement law, local governance and public law issues.
You will need to have experience of advising on a wide range of public procurement matters and contracts including works, services and supply. You will also need to have an awareness of TUPE related issues, working with arm’s length companies and state aid matters. Previous experience of complex corporate procurements and development work would be advantageous.
Candidates from both the public and private sector are encouraged to apply. It is essential that you are available on short notice and can work autonomously. This role is not a training opportunity and therefore candidates will be expected to hit the ground running from the outset.
