Commercial Litigation Solicitor- High Calibre Client Base

One of the regions' most prominent law firms is seeking to expand its dispute resolution offering with the appointment of a technically sound Commercial Litigation Solicitor to its formidable Commercial Litigation Team.

Based within the heart of the Black Country, this practice is ranked highly in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and it is very highly thought of within the corporate and commercial sectors. The practice boasts an enviable client list and continues to maintain strong links with clients within the West Midlands despite having gained a strong reputation for acting for blue chip and Plc corporate and commercial clients both on a national and international basis.

Following recent partner hires within the Commercial Litigation Team, the firm is now looking for an ambitious and experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join the firm in order to service an existing, high quality client base that is able to provide exposure to a varied dispute resolution caseload.

The firm is eager to speak with those from NQ level up to around the 3-year PQE mark and, if an NQ, you will have undertaken a commercial litigation seat during your training contract and may well have gained pre-qualification dispute resolution experience as a paralegal. What is important is that you will have gained experience of working at a comparable national practice and you will be capable of dealing with a varied caseload of challenging, technically complex and high-quality matters.

Dealing with your own caseload whilst providing assistance on higher value matters, you will handle a broad commercial litigation caseload to include shareholders disputes, partnership disputes, professional negligence cases and financial disputes. This role can offer acres of progression and development opportunities and, if you are at the top end of the PQE level, you will be able to enjoy more responsibilities including mentoring junior team members and acting as a technical referral point which in turn will enable you to embark upon a on what will be a swift progression path.

This firm is truly a meritocratic organisation and is in a very strong financial position. It can offer long term security and allow you to deal with some of the most technically complex, high calibre work on offer. In addition, the firm is able to offer to a very competitive remuneration package and you will also benefit from not having to commute into the city centre on a daily basis.

More importantly, the philosophy of the firm is that its lawyers shouldn't be micro-managed, have to attend what it deems as pointless internal meetings or work to arbitrary KPIs, thereby enabling you to focus on simply servicing client needs with everything else being picked up the senior management team, meaning that your focus will be very much on providing a first class client service and also affording you the time to immerse yourself int eh legal work.

This is the ideal opportunity for someone who is keen to work at a practice that has developed a truly different way of running a commercial law firm and one which is very much on the up, so for more information on this Commercial Litigation Solicitor role please contact Matt Robinson at QED Legal.
