Our client, based in Redhill, is looking for a dedicated Compliance Officer with a strong back ground in AML, ABC and Data Protection regulations. You will join a busy compliance function in a Consumer Finance organisation that belongs to one of the largest financial groups in the world. Someone with a great and vibrant personality will be a perfect fit in this 'small but lively' compliance team.

You will take on responsibility for assessing new/changes to regulation in the above areas and implementing changes as required and for working with all relevant departments to ensure that business practices are compliant with all current regulation. Assist in the delivery of training to the business on any regulatory changes in the Key SME areas. You will be the initial point of contact for the business on all compliance related matters including technical guidance and policy interpretation. Responsible for developing MI and internal reporting in the key SME areas to the business including Senior Management. Provide sign off for any business initiatives in the context of regulatory compliance and explore options and recommend actions. Review draft documents from all areas of the business and provide feedback from a general and SME compliance perspective. Attend industry forums and conferences and feedback relevant information to the Compliance Manager.
