Locum Commercial Property Lawyer – (£35 - £45 per hour)
Venn Group's specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer working for a Local Authority team in Hertfordshire.
The Council are looking for someone to carry out the role on a full time basis for an initial period of 3 months. The contract is likely to be extended depending on workload. Home working may also be considered if necessary however there is a preference for office based work.
The client will consider Qualified Solicitors, Barristers, Legal executives or someone qualified by experience as long as they have appropriate experience working within Local Government. Lawyers with a Private Practice background possessing the relevant experience will also be considered.
The successful applicant will be expected to carry out various responsibilities including:
- Drafting commercial leases (agriculture/property) and surrender
- Preparing notices under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
- Undertaking disposals of sites (garages and allotments) for redevelopment with s106 attached or CIL
- Handling various licence agreements and acquisitions, reports on title and lease renewals
- Dealing with Academy conversions and franchising
A highly attractive rate of £35 - £45 per hour, dependant upon experience is offered.
