Solicitor, 2-8 PQE

We are looking for a Solicitor or Associate to join the Planning team in our Truro Office. This is a full time opportunity working 9am-5.15pm Monday to Friday.
You will be working as a Solicitor or Associate within the Planning team. You will undertake a varied caseload and assist with all aspects of Planning work, with duties including but not limited to advising on: planning permission; appeals; CIL; s106 agreements; judicial review; highways and public rights of way; and environmental law.
In addition to fee earning work, there will be administrative duties, such as assisting with general administration and Lexcel compliance. The successful applicant will also be expected to get involved in business development activities.
Are you the right person?
The ideal candidate will be a planning lawyer who is 2 - 8 years PQE
You will need to be able to work on your own caseload, and work as part of a team.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a focus on exceptional client care. You will also be used to working in a busy and highly professional driven environment.
The position would suit someone who is highly organised, accurate, proactive and committed to meeting deadlines while remaining calm under pressure. Excellent all round communication skills, professional telephone manner and attention to detail is essential. You will also have a flexible approach and the ability to work within a team environment
You will also need to be IT literate and be able to use a case management system.
