Suffolk County Council legal services, (Suffolk Legal) has had a renowned advocacy service for Children's Services for several years and we have decided that the time has arrived for that centre of excellence to be expanded.

Our service covers a depth and breadth of legal disciplines and we aim to provide the council with the benefit of internal expertise covering for example the inherent jurisdiction, court of protection, tribunals (e.g. SEND/Disability), civil/enforcement litigation and family courts.

We invite advocates with an expansive legal knowledge and experience across a number of legal disciplines to apply.

You will be expected to hit the ground running, and in return you will be exposed to interesting, dynamic and exciting legal work for a dedicated professional client.

You will join the existing advocacy team and we are open to hearing from all legal professionals, from the newly qualified to barristers looking for a new challenge.

We trust that we can meet your visions and your desires to work with a committed and business focused legal team.

For an informal discussion only, please contact Nigel Inniss on (01473) 264236.

Apply online at: www.suffolkjobsdirect.org or call 0345 601 4412 quoting the job ref.

Closing date: 1pm, 25 February 2019.

This authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS checks or police vetting will be required for relevant posts. Suffolk County Council - welcoming diversity.
