Legal Counsel

Our client, a highly reputable, global gaming company with offices on almost every continent is currently looking for a legal counsel to operate within the lottery, interactive and digital divisions.

The successful legal counsel will work full time, on a permanent basis and support the SVP Corporate Secretary within the legal department, enhancing corporate governance and legal compliance from an English and EU law perspective. The client is looking for the legal counsel to start immediately and will report directly to the SVP with the benefit of a competitive salary.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least five years PQE (private practice or in-house)
• Abundant corporate and commercial contract experience
• Extensive governance understanding and compliance exposure
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Able to assess risks and provide advice accordingly
• The ability to communicate legal concepts and issues effectively to internal business clients
• A technologically adept brain with an understanding of associated terminology
