Joining a specialist team with expertise in this field, the successful lawyer will manage their own caseload covering a broad range of Court of Protection matters. Additionally, the successful lawyer will assist partners with more complex cases as required. Previous experience in this field will therefore be essential.

  • Acting for clients with ongoing personal injury or clinical negligence claims
  • Advising on appointing and removing a deputy
  • Managing the financial affairs of vulnerable adults and children
  • Setting up support packages
  • Dealing with issues surrounding care
  • Drafting lasting powers of attorney
  • Supporting partners in complex cases
  • Attending safeguarding and deprivation of liberty meetings  
  • Participation in business development initiatives
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge within your specialist field  
The Candidate
  • Applications will be considered from qualified solicitors and legal executives from NQ-4 years’ PQE
  • Technically proficient in Court of Protection matters
  • Demonstrates outstanding communication and client care skills
  • Highly organised, working well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
