Childcare Solicitor - Very Strong Regional Practice

A leading Legal 500 listed and very strong regional practice is continuing to expand its Family & Childcare offering and so is eager to appoint an additional Childcare Solicitor to the Family & Childcare Team and be based at the practices' modern and vibrant office in the heart of Coventry.

This firm is one of the largest within Coventry and the surrounding locality and has a number of offices within the region. It offers the full range of legal services to both individuals and commercial entities and is renowned for providing high calibre, expert advice. The firm continuously invests in technology to tailor its approach to the needs of its long-standing clients and continues to invest in its staff to ensure constant professional development.

In order to bolster the firms' already considerable family and childcare offering, the team is keen to grow the Coventry offering further with the hire of an experienced Childcare Solicitor who can work alongside the Head of Department and enjoy very good training and development prospects. The firm is keen to speak with a childcare practitioner who has a minimum of 2 years' PQE and has solid experience of handling a caseload of predominantly public law Children's Act matters as well as some broader public law experience.

It would be advantageous if you were to have Children's Panel Membership or are working towards this; however, this is by no means a pre-requisite. What is important is that you are you are driven, ambitious and enthusiastic about forging a career in the public law sector and that you are keen to develop a host of new skills quite quickly and have a desire to collaborate with your peers in order to drive the department's offering forward. You will naturally have garnered decent good advocacy experience and you will also be able to provide a first class client care service, especially given that you will often be handling sensitive matters.
