This is an outstanding opportunity to join an award-winning firm that is immensely proud of having a transparent and collaborative culture throughout the entire organisation. Any attitudes of self-importance are most certainly frowned upon which is no doubt why the firm is the recipient of several awards including being ranked as one of the best law firms to work for.

The Real Estate Team is held in exceptionally high regard and is one of the largest specialist practices in the UK. It has a broad, high calibre client base which comprises developers, corporate entities, investors and other financial institutions and the team here act on some of the most forward thinking and ground-breaking development projects around.

Due to an increasing number of new client wins gained in part from the firms' strong reputation in the sector, the Real Estate Team is eager to add a further Commercial Property Solicitor to the team. Ideally you will have anything from 3 to around 7 years' PQE although the team is open to meeting with those at a more senior level if you are able to demonstrate either a part following who a host of contacts within the development sphere. You will work alongside experienced development lawyers on a variety of projects and will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities which will include dealing with acquisitions and disposals, conditional contracts, lease agreements, development agreements, development management agreements and options agreements. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to act on behalf of a host of financial institutions who will be instrumental in the funding of commercial property projects.

This is a great opportunity for those who are keen to gain experience at a top tier firm which can offer exposure to quality work and who are keen to significantly enhance their technical skills in the formative years of their career. In addition, the firm actively encourages professional development, and ideally you will very quickly become an integral part of the teams' development offering and take the lead on a variety of projects. It might be pertinent to know that previous holders of this role have progressed to both Legal Director and Partner positions, so there are very good prospects for promotion in the medium term.

As one would expect from a firm of such standing, a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package are on offer which includes 25 days' holiday with the option to purchase more days, private health care, life assurance and an abundance of corporate discounts. The firm is also keen to promote a healthy work/life balance and so will encourage you to take advantage of the agile working scheme that is in operation.

Any experience gained at this firm will certainly enhance your future prospects, both internally and externally, so for more information on this Real Estate Solicitor / Associate role please contact Matt Robinson at QED Legal.
