Our client, a highly-regarded Specialist Costs Consultancy are looking to recruit Costs Draftsmen / Negotiators to join their expanding Merseyside operation, quickly establishing themselves as one of the most forward thinking and secure teams in the market.

We are keen to attract candidates from costs backgrounds with a minimum of 12 months experience. The role on offer is sitting within the Law Costs department, if successful you should anticipate managing your own case load of costs challenges, matters including dealing with solicitors' files across a range of disciplines to include Clinical Negligence / commercial matters and prepare costs claims for submission to opposing solicitors or the courts. Experienced Costs Draftsmen / Negotiators will be expected to draft bills of costs and /or Costs budgets and negotiate on costs matters. Suitable candidates may also have the opportunity to provide advocacy at Costs Case Management Conferences.

Applicants should be committed and hardworking individuals who enjoy operating in a highly motivated team environment. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative with the minimum of supervision. In addition, you will be flexible, organised and be able to communicate clearly with people at all levels. Knowledge of CPR and Legislation is permitted.
