The role
The firm is looking to hire a
n Employment Senior Associate / Partner into their state of the art Leeds office.
You will lead the department and will be at the forefront of this industry-leading team, you will work with the other Partners to drive the department forwards.
You will join an award-winning employment team that is led by a team of partners widely regarded as leaders in their field and who are regularly recommended by clients for their reputation, personalities and outstanding expertise.
Your caseload will be varied which will make for an interesting role, you will deal with; day-to-day employment queries, such as disciplinary and grievance matters, maternity/family leave issues and working time questions, more strategic projects such as compliance with new legal requirements, senior executive issues, including negotiating appointments and exits, collective matters such as restructuring, redundancies, integration and TUPE, industrial relations and trade union matters, employment tribunal, civil court and appeal litigation.
You will deal with a broad caseload, the variety of which will make for an interesting role.
Requirements
- You will be an Employment Lawyer with at least 8 years PQE+ (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE and I would encourage even the most experienced of candidates to apply)
- Experience of leading and mentoring more junior members of a team is of advantage but is not essential
- Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on your background, in addition, you will receive an industry-leading benefits package
