Senior Private Client Solicitor

Our client is a prominent high street law firm based on the Fylde Coast.

They have an experienced and highly thought of private client department and undertake a full range of private client services from routine wills and probate to complicated high net worth succession planning.

They are looking to recruit a 5 year plus PQE Private Client Solicitor for a senior level role within its Trust/Estate Planning Team.

Work will largely involve acting on behalf of a mid to high net worth client base on a range of issues including drafting more complicated wills, tax and trust options, overseas properties/business interests and other succession planning opportunities.

The successful applicant would be joining an expert team of dedicated and knowledgeable lawyers.

Reporting to the Head of Department it is hoped that you will become a senior level member of the department from the outset with direct input into the day to day management of more junior fee earners and support staff. You will also be given the opportunity to progress your own career in a friendly and supportive environment up to Partnership level if so desired.

To be considered for this role you will have the following experience, knowledge, skills, and attributes:

• Qualified Solicitor with significant private client experience (5 years plus PQE)
  * Ideally STEP qualified
  * Ability to assist in the supervision of a team of fee earners and support staff
  * Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  * Experienced and proficient in the use of case management systems
  * Ability to work to tight deadlines and under own initiative

Salary: In excess of £40,000 for the right candidate
