Childcare Lawyer sought for well-established Chelmsford firm.

Our client is now seeking a dedicated Childcare Lawyer for a fast-paced and busy department based in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will run a complex and challenging caseload consisting of all childcare and private law children matters.

• Representing children, parents and guardians in public law proceedings
• Placement orders and adoption
• Emergency protection orders
• Care and supervision orders
• Dealing with social services, schools, local authorities and other agencies
• Private law children matters

The Candidate
• Applications are encouraged from legal executives and solicitors with a minimum of one year’s PQE
• Membership of the Law Society Children Panel would be advantageous, but is not essential
• Technically proficient and commercially aware
• Strives for high standards in their work at all times
• A practical and proactive approach to solving problems
• The ability to provide first class communication and client care skills
