Talented Commercial Property Lawyer sought for a well-established, modern practice in Oxford.

We are now tasked with seeking a dynamic and motivated Commercial Property Lawyer on a permanent basis to join a fast-expanding law firm. The successful candidate will confidently manage their own caseload, while advising on a range of commercial property matters.

• Reporting to and assisting the head of department and board
• Departmental marketing and business development initiatives
• Landlord and tenant matters
• Leases, licences and other tenancy matters
• Commercial property management
• Acquisitions of freehold and/or leasehold properties
• Disposals of freehold and/or leasehold properties
• Site development
• Franchising
• Property disputes
• Property tax issues including SDLT penalty appeals

The Candidate
• Applications are encouraged from solicitors and legal executives with a minimum of a year’s experience in commercial property matters from a reputable firm
• Additional experience in agricultural law and residential property work will be advantageous
• Having real drive to make your own name in the local market is essential
• Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills both verbally and written
• Take a proactive approach with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
