Assistant Procurement and Commercial Lawyer (Procurement and Commercial Service). PO2 - £31,401 to £34,106
Procurement and Commercial Services is at the very centre of procurement and commercial contracts delivery within Leeds City Council.
The post holder will provide legal and commercial advice to support the delivery of the Council’s Procurement and Commercial Services.
We are now seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic lawyer to join our team to provide legal and commercial support to key projects/procurements across the Council and the wider City Region.
The role would provide the opportunity to work in the procurement and commercial legal team on:
(i) high profile and complex projects in Leeds such as HS2, a city wide district heating scheme and world class events
(ii) regional projects, procurements and investment funds
(iii) procurements to support all the Council’s service areas.
You will need to have experience of working in contracts and commercial law and projects and demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
