Number of Positions: Four

Location: South Wales, London, Midlands (Travel across England and Wales will be required)

Salary range: £59,874 – £80,756 (Inner London); £49,802 - £72,169 (National)

The Public Defender Service is seeking to recruit four experienced criminal Higher Courts Advocates.

As a qualified Barrister or Solicitor-Advocate, you will be passionate about criminal law, and have substantial experience in providing advice and representation in the Higher Courts. You will demonstrate advanced advocacy skills in a wide range of complex, serious and sensitive criminal casework. You will be flexible and prepared to travel to cover cases across England and Wales when required. A collaborative and team-orientated approach would be an advantage.
