Senior Corporate Solicitor

The role

The firm are looking to hire a Corporate Senior Associate / Partner into their flourishing Oxford city centre office.

You will lead the corporate department and will be at the forefront of this industry leading team, you will work with the other Partners to drive the department forwards.

You will join an award-winning corporate team that is led by a team of partners widely regarded as leaders in their field and who are regularly recommended by clients for their reputation, personalities and outstanding expertise.

The department advises companies, management teams, investors and debt providers through the business life cycle, from start-up and first round finance through M&A, management transactions, venture and development funding, restructuring, capital reductions, private equity funding and exits.

You will deal with a broad caseload, the variety of which will make for an interesting role.

Requirements

• You will be a Corporate Lawyer with at least 9 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to the amount of PQE and I would urge even the most experienced of candidates to apply)
• You should work for a well-known corporate department
• A meticulous eye for detail is essential
• Experience of leading and mentoring more junior members of a team is to advantage but is not essential
• Salary is above market rate and negotiable depending on your background and level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package
