Professional Negligence & Civil Litigation Solicitor

The firms enjoys a well-established and market-leading reputation acting for claimants and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation and consumer disputes. A new opportunity has arisen in Manchester to be part of a specialist and cohesive team and working closely with the head of department, a highly skilled and experienced lawyer.

Whilst the team as a whole is instructed on a diverse range of civil litigation matters (non-PI), the person appointed will have the opportunity to specialise in:

• 
  Solicitors’ Indemnity and Negligence actions relating conveyancing and property transactions,
• Professional Negligence including claims against surveyors, architects, FSAs and accountants,
• Contested Probate and Disputed Wills cases,
• Inheritance and Dependency claims. 

The nature of the this role, managing a multi-track caseload and assisting juniors within the team, requires a specialist solicitor or legal executive with not less than 3 yrs’ experience in conducting comparable litigation.

The firm runs a sophisticated web based and direct marketing programme. Your role will be to assist in business development and team based initiatives through case profiling, publications and networking.
