Trust Advisor – Our client, a unique Kent based schooling trust now needs a trust governance & compliance officer to advise them on a range of legal matters.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer you will advise the trust principles, board members, trustees, parents and other governing bodies, ensuring that governance is in operation at the Schools and to drive and advise on and legal compliance to those holding governance and/or senior positions at the Trust. You will ensure that structures and strategies are in place to deliver sound knowledge on various financial & funding agreements, Ofsted handbooks and to review and the further development of new policies. In addition, you will fulfil related house-keeping obligations for the Trust, its Board and Committees, Directors and Governors of the Multi-Academy Trust.

This a hands-on role in which they are looking for someone 3-4 days per week. In return they offer a competitive salary, flexible working and good pension.
