An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to make the move into a commercially driven In-house role with a reputable and FCA regulated litigation funder. The role would be perfect for a commercially astute Family / Private Client Lawyer with significant experience working in high value cases (specifically matrimonial disputes), who is looking for a move away from working in Practice.

This reputable litigation funder has seen impressive success, and subsequently substantial growth, since its inception in 2013 and as such is now expanding the team. The business has a fantastic reputation within its vast network of clients and is well known for funding complex, high value cases. Salary is offered between the £50,000 - £70,000 DOE.

The successful candidate will work in a commercially focussed position; working closely with the Managing Director in the day to day management of a portfolio of loans. The position will also involve developing relationships with clients and their legal representation, carrying out due diligence on new lending opportunities, preparing FCA compliant customer statements and CCA compliant loan documents, and drafting letters to clients and their legal representation. A significant aspect of the role will be providing insight into these cases from a legal perspective, and using your knowledge and experience in high value cases to drive the business forward.

Applications are invited from Solicitors between 3 - 6 years PQE with a background in high value and complex Family / Private Client cases, but with a commercial flair, and ideally an understanding of litigation funding. This is a senior, high profile position within the business and as such applicants should demonstrate strong problem solving skills, integrity, confidence, and the ability to network and develop business.
