Training Contracts 2020-2022

Undertake your training contract in a top tier, niche law firm, where you can help make justice available to all.

Our ethos remains the same as when the firm was set up in 1987, to make justice available to all and to take on challenges that would daunt many others. We work only for individuals, and ensure they have access to the quality of legal representation to match and surpass that available to state bodies and big business.

We are a specialist law firm operating across clinical negligence, consumer law and product safety, employment, human rights, international and personal injury.

You will be working with experts, training with some of the country's leading legal teams, who are not afraid to take on difficult, challenging and ground-breaking cases. That’s why people come to us, because they want answers; they want justice; they often need help to rebuild their lives.

As a Trainee Solicitor, you will work closely with a Partner or senior lawyer and assist with all aspects of casework.  These are challenging roles, but extremely rewarding, and a high standard of performance is expected.

  • Application outcomes (by early May 2019)
  • Assessment Centre (mid-June 2019)

We use RARE Contextualised Recruitment System (CRS) and anonymise applications to help support social mobility and diversity through the application process.

Should you have a disability or long-term condition that requires adjustments to the application or assessment process, please contact us, in confidence, at jobs@leighday.co.uk.
