Contract type: Fixed-Term until December 2019
Salary:
 (Band D) £36,000 Per Annum

We are a leading multi-profession Health and Care regulator, who put public protection at the heart of everything we do.  Our Fitness to Practise department is central to delivering effective regulation by ensuring timely, proportionate and fair investigations into complaints about our registrants.

Following a comprehensive review of our practices we have developed and implemented new roles to support our ongoing and future needs and contribute to the success of the Department.

We are building on our existing attributes to develop a culture of first rate customer service, high quality performance and continuous improvement.

We are looking for talented, dynamic, customer focussed individuals to join our team and in return can offer a welcoming and supportive environment and career shaping opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong advocacy skills, to prepare and present fitness to practise cases at a range of hearings.  These new posts play a key role in supporting fitness to practise committees to reach accurate and well-reasoned decisions.

You will have a sound understanding of professional regulation and significant experience of presenting cases before panels/tribunals.  You will be a strong negotiator, able to communicate professionally with parties to a case from all backgrounds to ensure that fitness to practise proceedings are conducted expeditiously and to a high standard.

We offer a wide range of benefits including a popular flexible working policy, generous annual leave and pension entitlements, season ticket loan, a cycle to work scheme and employee discounts on gym membership and a wide range of retail outlets.
