Your new role
A Senior Legal Counsel position within an impressive team of seven lawyers, reporting into the UK Head of Legal. Working with all the Group's agencies, you will advise on advertising clearance, marketing services contracts, digital advertising and other business critical matters. You will draft and negotiate key services, licensing and vendor agreements, while also working on crucial intellectual property issues. You will build strong relationships with proposals, marketing, advertising and digital teams (to name a few), supporting them contracting, disputes and compliance matters in a cross-border environment. You will be making a tangible contribution as a legal team across the wider business, being proactive in managing risk and providing training where necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a mid level commercial lawyer (7-8 PQE as a guide only), qualified either in the UK or another major common law jurisdiction (e.g. Australia or New Zealand). You must have the uninhibited right to work in the UK. You will have experience drafting and negotiating high-volume commercial agreements including Master Service, vendor and licensing agreements, while advising on advertising clearance and risk matters. You will also have notable exposure to typical intellectual property matters. In-house exposure will be looked at favourably, and you should be able to show that you have supported different departments of a business as a reliable business advisor.
