Commercial Contracts Lawyer

LAW Absolute are recruiting to a Contracts & Procurement Lawyer position with a vibrant and welcoming local authority based in Northampton. The role is being offered on a twelve month fixed term contract basis.

Our client is forward thinking with their approach and have a vibrant and innovative team.

The local authority are offering many benefits including flexible working hours, remote working and staff benefit schemes.

Management are very support and flexible with remote working.

You must be able to demonstrate that you can hold a challenging case load including:

• Complex construction contracts
• Service contracts
• Contract related governance issues
• Advising senior officers within the council
• Broad advice experience
• EU Procurement
• Excellent drafting skills

It is essential that you are hard-working and can perform your duties efficiently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining a high standard service at all times.
