Professionals Regulation Lawyers

We are seeking two experienced lawyers to join our professionals regulation team, delivering high quality oral and written advocacy as well as providing support to our investigative teams

Closing date: 18 March 2019 (12pm)

Interview date: TBC

Salary: circa £50,000

Location: Canary Wharf, London

The role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive contribution to a dynamic, forward-thinking and successful team. As well as delivering high quality oral and written advocacy, you will provide support, guidance and advice to team members about fitness to practise cases and broader regulatory issues.

The role, although primarily focussed on advocacy and case presentation within the GPhC’s fitness to practise process, is varied - our lawyers have recently appeared in Magistrates Courts and County Courts.

The successful applicants will:

  • be a qualified solicitor or barrister
  • have a strong track record of tribunal advocacy
  • have experience of successfully managing their own caseload, plus have a high level of skill and experience in both case investigation and the construction of cases for hearings
  • have an unwavering commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion

In return for their commitment and enthusiasm, applicants can expect a rewarding and challenging  work environment, good work-life balance and workload plus an excellent benefits package that includes 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays).
