We are looking for a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join a London Local Authority.
As a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer you will join a team dealing with a wide variety of matters including drafting and amending contracts, negotiating with third parties, advising and drafting procurement documents and providing legal advice to Local Authority Clients.
The ideal candidate will have company secretary experience and will also have some Local Government experience with good knowledge of public procurement and development. Candidates with private sector experience will also be considered.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join a Local Authority with a very interesting workload. The offices are close to public transport links and there may also be the opportunity to work from home for 1 day a week after a settling in period.
The contract is for an initial 3 month period, although it is likely that this will be extended.
