Litigation Lawyer required to join a Government Department in London. My client is looking for a solicitor or barrister who is experienced in litigation and preferably public law to manage a high volume immigration case-load.
The ideal candidate will have litigation experience from any background but will preferably have experience of dealing with public law matters. Candidates from similar jurisdictions are welcome to apply to these roles.
The successful solicitor or barrister will be working within a supportive and friendly team and can expect to take on a busy caseload. As a Litigation Lawyer you will be expected to work independently and manage your own caseload subject to supervision. It is essential that writing skills are of high-quality as substantive written work plays a large part in an immigration lawyer's day to day role. The client requires a solicitor/ barrister with effective case working skills in order to meet deadlines; this includes great communication, drafting and planning. A successful litigation lawyer will be working effectively with clients and colleagues alike and display a positive, open and helpful attitude in the conduct of their work.
