Venn Group`s specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the South West. The Council are looking for someone to work on a full-time basis and the position is offered for an initial period of 6 months.
The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor possessing previous experience of specialising in Commercial Property, experience of working for a Local Authority would be highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in the following aspects of commercial property law including, but not exclusive to:
- Land assembly agreements
- Land development and promotion agreements
- Acquisition and disposal of both leasehold and freehold
- Understanding of planning and highway law
- Knowledge of agricultural law
- Compulsory Purchase Orders
An hourly rate of £35 – £45 (umbrella) is on offer dependant upon experience and a significant amount of homeworking can be offered for the right candidate.
