Job Details

Intellectual Property Locum sought in Bristol by IP specialist firm. Will involve data protection and IP work - experience of both required if possible. 3 months likely, possibly longer. Full time ideally and the firm would prefer the locum to be based at their offices in Bristol. May be a bit of flexibility on this, but not a lot. Start as soon as you are able.

“For locums we use Jonathan Fagan at Interim Lawyers. He’s a nice, helpful guy and his fees aren’t too bad (for an agent!)”

Interim Lawyers is the online locum platform operated by Ten Percent Legal Recruitment. We introduce office-based and remote working solicitors to law firms and in house legal departments. We are a small, friendly, specialist online Legal Recruitment consultancy, established in April 2000 by two of the current directors. We know most of our locums personally and have regular conversations with them. The company is privately owned and we concentrate on the introduction of locum solicitors, licensed conveyancers and legal executives. We have over 700 locum lawyers registered with us and we work with law firms and in house legal departments across the UK and offshore. Our service is transparent and we do not chase locums or firms. Neither are we particularly pushy!

Company

Ten Percent Legal Recruitment specialises in the recruitment of locum and permanent solicitors for law firms and in house legal departments across the UK. Based in Chester and London, we have a database of over 12,500 solicitors and legal executives registered with us. Established in April 2000, we also assist with law firm mergers & acquisitions and have been providing impartial advice to solicitors and firms for over 20 years. We specialise in locum and permanent recruitment for high street and smaller sized niche commercial practices, as well as in house legal departments. Our company has also been writing and distributing the Legal Recruitment News, a monthly newsletter full of free articles on legal career planning, recruitment strategies and business development.

Why are we unique?

We donate a chunk of our profits every year to charity and have done so since we started trading. The Ten Percent Group of websites (which include Interim Lawyers and Chancery Lane) give 10% of net annual profits to the Ten Percent Foundation, a charitable trust set up to distribute our donations to charities around the UK and overseas. We have donated over £150,000 to various charities including LawCare, the CAB, Reprieve and Unlock, as well as other organisations suggested by our clients and candidates.
