Legal Assistant - Conveyancing (Plot Sales) - Southampton - £19-23K
This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern top 150 legal firm based in the Southampton area. The firm have an excellent residential conveyancing department with a specific team focused on plot sales and work closely with some very established commercial partners and developers ensuring a steady stream of work in what is often a very busy department.
You will be responsible for providing legal support of plot sale transactions from start to finish, under supervision initially from a senior team member, with full support given to enable you to become fully competent and quickly established within the department. Although this is very much a team orientated role as an individual you be highly organised and confident in being able to deal with clients and effectively managing your own workflow tasks, prioritising the key elements to ensure all transactions run smoothly for the fee earners. Experience and understanding of residential conveyancing matters is key for this role if you have already acquired expertise through working with or on behalf of house builders and/or plot purchasers that would be viewed as highly advantageous.
