Criminal Defence Fee Earner- Manchester

Are you an experienced crown court criminal defence fee earner with exposure in handling your own caseload?

If so my client is a leading criminal practice south of Manchester city centre who now have the requirement for those with at least 2 years experience defending those accused of criminal defence to include drug offences, firearms offences, road traffic offences, or more serious crimes including murder, fraud and sexual assault offences.

Ideally, you will already undertake criminal defence work and providing representation to clients on a day to day basis and sometimes at last minute, so Police station accreditation and driving license would be distinct advantage.

However, you must have experience in the following;

Crown court case preparation
A sound knowledge of English Law
Be able to liaise with Barristers, Industry Experts & Witnesses on a daily basis
Ability to taking clear structured instructions from Clients
Obtaining and reviewing evidence
Progressing cases through to trial
