Job Details

I am looking to speak to senior private wealth lawyers who might be interested in hearing more about an opportunity within a growing Cambridge office of a national law firm.

This office has doubled in size in the last 2 years on the commercial side with a number of impressive hires and they are now looking to have conversations with lawyers interested in playing a leading role in terms of expanding their private wealth offering. They have a first rate reputation for this type of work in their other offices and wish to utilise their reputation for this type of work and expand into offering this to their Cambridgeshire based clients.

Much of the work that the firm undertakes is International and it is common play for their lawyers to be dealing with International wealth structuring. The firm are interested in hearing from those with similar senior level experience gained at city, national or respected regional practices.

The successful candidate will play the lead role in developing this private wealth offering in Cambridge and so you can expect to enjoy fantastic progression opportunities with partnership prospects envisaged for the successful person that comes in and makes a success of this.

The firm will also consider a partner level appointment for the right person who is able to hit the ground running in the Cambridge office, either by joining as an individual lawyer with a view to building up a team around them over time, or even by bringing your own team with you.

A following of clients would be beneficial but not essential providing you have a strong business development record and a track record of being able to develop relationships and deal with high net worth individuals.

This role may suit senior lawyers looking for more autonomy in terms of developing your department and the chance to work within a firm that is ambitious to cement a reputation as a leading private wealth firm in Cambridgeshire.

The salary for this role would be dependent on experience but will be highly competitive and at the top end of market rate for the area and as part of a good overall package.

The firm is open to having an informal, confidential chat to lawyers who might be interested in exploring opportunities in the Cambridgeshire area and so if this is of interest please feel free to get in touch.

In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".
