Commercial Property Solicitor / Partner

This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join an award winning, Legal 500 practice in the West Midlands in a key position at a pivotal time in the progression of the Commercial Property Department, as the new recruit will be instrumental in driving forward the team.

The position has come about due to the Head of Department's imminent retirement and therefore there is an obvious career progression path to partnership for the new recruit, as the firm are bringing someone in now with a view to succession planning.

The successful applicant will enjoy a varied commercial property caseload to include high value disposals and acquisitions of land and property, complex leases, landlord and tenant matters, transactional work, retail and leisure matters, industrial property work and property finance advice.

You will be acting on behalf of an enviable client base to include FTSE 100 companies, multinationals, central and local Government and owner managed businesses. Client sectors include retail, manufacturing, leisure, banking and professional services.

The role would suit a Commercial Property Solicitor who has gained relevant experience with either a national, regional or bespoke property practice. You are likely to have at least 5 years' PQE, however applications from more junior candidates who feel they have what it takes to fulfil this position are welcome.

Although it is envisaged that the successful applicant will join the firm as a Senior Associate, joining the firm as a Salaried Partner for the right individual has not been ruled out.

This firm is family focussed with down-to-Earth people and prides itself on its high employee satisfaction and retention record and has training and workshops to add extra value to its employees. They have a talent retention scheme and a progression plan in place and maintain a good work: life balance.

There is no set salary banding, as the firm is open minded with regards to remuneration and will pay what is necessary to secure the right individual (within reason!)

In recent times it has also been translated as "Quite Easily Done".
