Locum Commercial and Intellectual Property Lawyer Vacancy

Venn Group is currently recruiting for an opportunity within a prestigious University based in the East Midlands. The Legal Services Team are looking for a Locum Commercial and Intellectual Property Lawyer for at least a 3 month period with a high possibility of extension thereafter.

Applications are welcome from Qualified Solicitors, Barristers, Legal Executives and non-qualified Lawyers who ideally have relevant experience within the Higher Education Sector.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing commercial and contractual advice across a range of topics including intellectual property, licencing law and potentially some student-related queries
• Reviewing and drafting various contracts, collaboration agreements, subcontracts, disclosure agreements and data processing agreements
• Liaising with clients and colleagues across the University in regards to legal matters

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team and can offer an attractively hourly rate of £40-50 per hour dependant on experience.
