Employment and Reward Senior Associate

An opportunity for a senior, experienced Employment and Reward Senior Associate with 4-8 years PQE has opened with an International law firm at the cutting edge of Employment Law. You will need to have significant expertise and experience for this role, and in return the firm will invest time into your development with a clear track to Partnership in the future.

The Role

The successful hire will be joining a leading firm that's achieved more Tier 1 rankings in the Legal 500 than any other firm; the Employment and Reward practice is recognised as one of the most innovative and high profile, providing industry leading advice to multinational clients.

The Senior Associate joining the team will have experience in either a large commercial legal, City or international firm, with impressive technical and market knowledge and specific experience of dealing with strategic employment law advice, cross-border issues, restructuring and redundancy, complex grievances at a senior level including discrimination and whistle blowing complaints and senior executive/board room issues.

This role will also involve the management of complex or high value and High Court litigation.

This leading team deal with cutting edge claims, projects and corporate transactions for a variety of blue-chip corporates and financial institutions. The work regularly involves an international dynamic, working closely with colleagues in the firm's international offices.

The successful hire must have experience in cross border information and consultation, benefit redesign exercises and global mobility as well as advisory expertise in relation to executive level employment law issues such as senior level recruitment and termination, executive compensation arrangements, bonus claims, team moves and enforcement of restrictive covenants.

Requirements:

• You will a Senior Lawyer/Senior Associate with 4-8 years PQE (more or less experience could be considered if the candidate has outstanding experience in this area of law)
• Must have outstanding experience in Employment & Reward legal work dealing with clients at the highest level
• Solid management and leadership skills
• Must have a genuine interest in working along side Partners to develop the junior lawyers in the team as well as helping to generate new business.
• Must have an eye for details, spotting opportunities and able to suggest improvements proactively.
• A strong technical knowledge is essential.
• First-class communication skills and ability to work alongside colleagues
• Excellent client facing skillset and strong track record in business development
