We have a brand new opportunity for a Senior Solicitor to join the group dispute resolution team of a leading international organisation; the role is based in their offices in Manchester. They are a well established international group whose reputation is held high both inside and outside. You will be working in a well established legal team with a fantastic network of supportive colleagues who all excel in their respective roles. Reporting into the Divisional Head of Legal provides a solid working relationship with links to the most senior legal staff in this area of the business. The freedom to dictate the flow and pace of your work will enable to you optimise efficiency and enjoy your role to its fullest. An open relationship with your seniors will always be available for advice and guidance whenever necessary, and in equal parts they will trust you and allow you to manage your own workload independently.

Preferably you will bring to the team up to around 10 years of experience, but they will consider strong candidates from 5 PQE and upwards. The organisation has a lot of links to the public sector and services many of its largest entities. Particularly desirable are skills and experience in and around the public sector and tech space. The work will broadly involve large scale contractual disputes and issues around interpretation, an in-depth knowledge of tech and public sector contracts will give you a real edge. Contract values will be mostly far in excess of £1 million. The ideal candidate will be UK qualified with substantial, demonstrable experience in the commercial disputes space.
