THE FIRM:
Our client is an established law firm serving a wide range of corporate, institutional and private clients with an international focus.
THE ROLE:
A new role has arisen for a confident sports, commercial & IP lawyer to join a dynamic department advising a diverse range of clients such as governing bodies, clubs, institutions and athletes.
You will work on a broad range of matters covering disciplines involved in the business of sport from sponsorship and partnership rights, contractual arrangements for amateur and professional events to advising on sports rules and regulations.
ABOUT YOU:
Successful candidates will have 4PQE + as a sports, commercial & IP lawyer with a significant track record and solid understanding of sports law gained from a top City or national law firm.
An excellent academic record (Degree 2.1 or above) combined with a pro-active approach to business, you will have experience of direct client contact with a strong focus on sports-related clients.
This should include commercial experience including IP and technology as well as IT contracts, software licences and outsourcing agreements.
You will be able to demonstrate exceptional and meticulous attention to detail; and any experience of supervising team members would prove a distinct advantage.
