An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an independent and market-leading law firm who are synonymous with the highest quality legal advice and service and who work with trusted professionals around the world to deliver a seamless international service.

You will be joining a flourishing and successful immigration team who specialise in providing immigration advice to high net worth individuals, small corporates and national institutions. The firm is already a leader in providing advice to international private clients and is able to provide clients with very comprehensive advice ranging from tax and trust planning to high end residential property, employment, disputes, reputation management, family law and corporate etc. The role will be based in the Private Client Department.

Responsibilities

  • As the Associate Immigration Lawyer, you will provide accurate and timely advice on a wide range of immigration related matters to a broad range of internal and external clients
  • Promote the immigration practice both internally and externally, contributing to know-how, participating in internal and external seminars and assisting with client events
  • Share knowledge, skills and experience within the business to support the development of the practice

Requirements

  • You will have solid demonstrable immigration experience gained with another recognised law firm
  • Experience dealing in all aspects of private as well as business immigration law
  • Ability to work under supervision and, at times to manage own caseload as well as the ability to help with business development strategies with the support of partners across the firm
  • Client-focused approach and strong exposure to marketing and business development techniques
  • Efficient communication skills and the ability to pitch the advice to the person receiving it
  • Ability to deal with multiple matters at any one time
  • Organisational skills to keep files in order and to move transactions to completion effectively
