Douglas Scott are currently assisted a Global Technology client in their search for a Junior In-House Legal Counsel. Based in Leeds, this is an excellent opportunity to join an interesting, evolving and growing sector of the market.

Applications are invited from newly qualified to 2 years PQE Solicitors who have a desire to work in-house, and more importantly have a strong interest in the technology sector. You will be ambitious, commercially minded, and be able to thrive in a results driven environment. This hire will play a key role in supporting the General Counsel with both the day to day activities, and delivery of the longer term strategic plans

The business has targeted further International expansion as their client base grows. For the legal team, this means fast paced IP/IT commercial contracts work (outsourcing, services, software licensing) to include drafting and negotiation, external client management, legal support for internal stakeholders, and ongoing compliance with latest regulations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Solicitor to make the move in-house. Ideally you will be a practising Commercial Solicitor, or have completed a seat in a Commercial Practice during your Training Contract. You will be supported by the General Counsel whilst having the freedom to develop your skills as an In-House Solicitor.
