Your new company
Our client is the legal services provider of a household name in the UK. Employing over 600 people into the legal team with a large Bristol office, they provide a range of legal services to clients in a simplified and non-technical manor. This household name is part of a group which employs more than 70,000 people. They are currently undergoing an expansion in the Bristol office due to work levels and are hiring several Paralegals to join the well-established team.
Your new role
Joining a busy and specialist team, you will conduct litigation in personal injury matters with a focus on road traffic accidents. You will manage a varied caseload of mixed liability, quantum disputes and post litigation matters from instruction to completion, to achieve appropriate compensation whilst working towards targets. In addition to drafting court documentation, you will also be required to attend court hearings with support from team leaders.
What you'll need to succeed
You will previous experience of personal injury, preferably with a focus on Road traffic accidents, however this is not essential. You will have a good understanding of insurance law and first-rate communication skills, commercial awareness and initiative to work alone, as well as be a team player. A legal qualification would be a distinct advantage.
