Commercial Property Lawyer – Abingdon, Oxfordshire

As part of our continued expansion we want a commercial property lawyer/commercial conveyancer to join us in Abingdon to provide professional commercial conveyancing services and assist with all aspects of commercial property transactional work including handling freehold and leasehold commercial conveyancing transactions from initial client contact through to completion.

The role reports to the head of department based in Abingdon and the hire is part of the firm’s succession planning.  With excellent long-term career development potential, the initial objective is for you to support and then build upon the groundwork done by this well regarded senior solicitor’s work.  Once familiar with our internal systems and procedures, the successful candidate will be encouraged to work with relative autonomy.

If your specialism is in commercial conveyancing and you are looking to develop your skills and knowledge, we want to hear from you. The successful candidate may be either a fully qualified lawyer with at least 3 year’s recent PQE in commercial conveyancing work or a non-qualified legal professional with the equivalent relevant experience and expertise. You should demonstrate a detailed knowledge of commercial conveyancing work, good technical proficiency and strong attention to detail.

Fee targets and related bonus scheme apply together with an attractive remuneration package. A flexible working pattern or a 4-day week would be considered for an outstanding candidate.
