Job Details
I am looking to recruit a specialist legal practitioner with a keen knowledge of Housing Law.
My client is looking for a solicitor 3 years PQE to join them based in Slough to how on a caseload of housing litigation.
The Role:
*Take on casework, including litigation, to enable those who are in housing need, including those who are homeless, to enforce their legal rights and challenge the limits of the law. This will involve taking on emergency cases and identifying and carrying out strategic litigation.
*Maintain an active caseload and carry out casework and litigation to meet high quality standards.
*Provide technical supervision and line management to others including effective delegation of work to ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the most efficient way.
*Provide consultancy work as required
*Ensure funding is maximised on each case.
* Actively promote the legal services and identify referrals from internal and external sources.
*Meet income, open cases, work in progress, and other targets set by the management team.
* Keep informed and up-to-date of changes in legislation, case law and other areas.
