Senior Banking Lawyer

Banking Senior Associate with 4-7 years PQE required to join a leading International law firm in their City of London office. Ranked in the Top 20, this firm is a top international practice operating from offices across Asia Pacific, EMEA, and the US.

The Role

The Associate joining this team will work alongside some of the Finance industry's leading lawyers and Partners that are highly respected in the legal sphere.

You will be exposed to high profile, complex corporate, acquisition and leveraged financing transactions plus emerging markets transactions as well as infrastructure M&A /Financing.

Their lawyers expertly handle the negotiating of transactions and you may even have the opportunity to take the lead on smaller matters as well as assisting and supervising trainees

Responsibilities will also include building relationships with clients, acting for lenders and borrowers in relation to general corporate and acquisition facilities.

Requirements

• You will be a Banking Senior Lawyer with 4-7 years PQE.
• You will have strong academics (min 2:1 degree).
• Experience gained at a reputable firm within a recognised Banking practice.
• Strong skills in drafting, negotiation and project management, foundation level people management and business development experience.
• The ability to manage and develop strong client relationships whilst also effectively providing support internally to the firm and colleagues.
